This morning, I came into the living room to find my dad watching the "Everyday I Love You Less and Less" video on his laptop. I love that.

Yesterday we went to Borders, forgetting it was Harry Potter night. So we were hit by the annoying preteen crowd in their costumes. I have nothing against being an obsessive fan, as I am one, but these kids were much too... pre-teeny. But nothing was going to get between me and my media. Sadly, NME and Q weren't great editions, so I have to go out on Tuesday and frantically search for my comfort magazine for the plane trip on Wednesday (!!!). There was a book that was kindof interesting about the alt music explosion in the 90s, but I read probably the most interesting part while I was looking at it. The author was much more in favor of Blur, than Oasis. Seriously, it was great, they were talking about how much talent Blur has, while taking down Oasis in the process. It was funny.

And in other news, I can wear junior jeans again! Whee!

I'm getting that anxious feeling that means I need to find a new band to love. The last one was very productive as it lead me to Kaiser Chiefs. But at the same time, uploading all these videos has made me remember how many of these songs and videos I love. I don't even remember having half of these Muse videos.

Something about reading those two things right next to each other made my brain switch "anxious" to "anorexic" and I nearly flipped out. Phew!

I HATE HARRY POTTER. GOD.

My sister went to the Powells thing with her 14 year old friend, but she left early because of "the twelve year old girls standing around dressed in rather, well, skanky school uniforms."

But, yay for junior jeans! You have achived something I cannot! *dancedancedance*

Wasn't there supposed to be a NME with Ricky on the cover?

The problem was that I hadn't tried them on for a couple years. They're long, but that's what flipping up the back/wearing the backs out is for.

So annoying! And I forgot to tell about the poor guitarist who got asked the same question so many times I wanted to make a sign for him saying "Before you ask: these are not original compositions, they are Argentinean." Poor guy.

That's the current edition, which means it will be out, like, 2 weeks later here.

You could "rock the Ricky" and roll them up. With those black hightops.

Poor gutarist.

So, wait, will you be able to actually get it there, or will you miss it entirely?

I think I'll end up missing it in both places.

So...Is that something else I should get? I mean, knowing now that you're not going to makes me want to...

It's another festival issue, which usually aren't the greatest.

The blurb doesn't look that promising, but I always flip through to see if there's something good.

And it is hairy Ricky, which no one likes except Ricky.

Pre-teeny Madness
I was at Barnes and Noble with my sister who is a crazy Harry Potter fan....The activities started at 8:30pm, we were the second people in line at 6pm......And the Pre-teenyness was barfable....I just wanted a really cool langauge book, but my mom let her money to my sister for flaming Harry "I have to be the most annoying Sod of all time" Bloody Potter. Okay, I'm done....But I did submit an application there, because I really want the money....And it's a book store which is a bonus. Another bonus was I submitted my application at 11:58pm....2 minute before a riot....I was very nearly punched the face by a cashier....I did very nearly tackle the grown man dressed as Dumbledore for the simple fact that GROWN MEN SHOW KNOW BETTER!!!!! Honestly, I got right up behind him and just before I could "Trip" He went down a really crowded aisle....So Yes, I know the Pre-Teenyness of which you groan about, I was there(Not there where you were there but else where but in the same situation....)

Re: Pre-teeny Madness
That would be a fun job. I always thought I would like to work at Borders because of the combination books and music, without all the scary music workers who think they're superior.
